The last 1 to 2 years has been a great time for people to buy homes, but there have not been that many people actually buying. Why don't people in Lansing buy homes when the market is in their favor?
Afraid of the future? The economy stinks? Bad credit? No downpayment? Didn't get out of bed today?
The reality is: Interest rates have remained relatively low, sellers have lowered the prices of homes to all time lows, and there are a ton of beautifully updated homes on the market in Lansing from which to choose.
I realize the local economy in Lansing hasn't been great, but it's not as dire as the media reports. I think SOME buyers are finally getting it. I have seen an upswing in activity the past week or so. Phone has been ringing a lot. Lots of questions are being asked. Scheduling more showings for our listings and our active buyers.
I want to talk to some of you potential home buyers in the Lansing, Michigan area. What are you thinking? What information can I provide that will help you make decisions about buying a home? Call or shoot me an email.
