There seem to be many more people under the age of 25 buying homes these days. Check out this article in the Detroit Free Press to see why and what these people think of owning a home.

The main benefits of owning a home are the tax write-off and the equity you build up when you own a home.

WHY NOT SHELTER YOUR INCOME AND BUY YOUR OWN HOME, RATHER THAN BUY IT FOR YOUR LANDLORD?

Blog issues in Lansing

I noticed I'm having some issues with the appearance of our blog here in mid-Michigan. Not sure if we had some server updates or what, but things are definitely not right. I wonder if they have these issues in Okemos?

I'm working on fixing them, but might take a week or so (remember that life thing getting in the way).

I'm Back

Hi, I'm back in blogging action again. Life can get in the way sometimes in Lansing, and unfortunately some things have to take the back burner.

The start of school pushed this realtor/writer over the edge. Too many irons in the fire as they say. My oldest son started his 2nd year at Michigan State University, my daughter her senior year at Grand Ledge High and my youngest son at Our Savior Lutheran. Then life got really busy.

I've missed blogging, though, and I'm back with a vengeance.
